Rob Priest's Glasair 11-S

After a 12 year building program and 4306 manhours, Glasair 11-S RG VH-ROB, successfully completed its maiden flight from Archerfield on Satuday Sept 4.

 

The pocket rocket has a 200hp Lycoming engine and constant speed prop giving it speeds around 200kts.

 

Following a test flying schedule Rob received his Special Airworthiness certificate on Sept 14.

 

The aircraft will be utilised for cross country cruising as it has a 1000nm range.
