Mission Statement
To provide freedom of choice for amateur aircraft builders and enthusiasts and to help maintain the amateur built aircraft movement in Queensland.
To provide meetings, a newsletter, web site for info and sales adds for members, fly ins and fly aways.
We will be dedicated to aiding the pursuit of excellence in the construction and operation of amateur built aircraft.
We will pursue a new lower cost less complex certification system for 21 -190 aircraft. (old 101.28)
We will strive for the application of the highest standards of ethics and business management.
We will cooperate with other aviation groups of like mind.
All members will have a democratic forum to air their views.
We shall endeavour to act in the best interest of all members at all times, and be accountable for all expenditure and our management decisions, major matters will be put to a general meeting in a democratic manner.
Any extraordinary expenditure required for the pursuit of the new certification system will be by donation, extra money raising or a builders levy. We will not use members funds on projects that benefit only a few.
Any financial member will be free to stand for any position on council without qualification.
We will not use vilification the threat of litigation against any member that may have a difference or contrary view, all members shall be heard without fear or favour providing they are not engaging in personal offence.
We are a amateur aircraft builders and operators club, and an associated social club, and all new members should understand this is our core business and we will be using the members funds in pursuit of these activities.
